Successfully approved for audit, Sokon Power officially put into production of HDP Adaptors for Volkswagen.

To ensure the mass production of the HDP Adaptors for Volkswagen, and to guarantee that the quality and process during the mass production meet Volkswagen's quality standards and production requirements, recently, a team of experts from Volkswagen's headquarters in Germany, along with Chinese Volkswagen SQE specialists, visited Sokon Power for an on-site audit of the HDP Adaptors production. Following the professional review by the expert team, Sokon Power's production and quality assurance capabilities were confirmed, and the company officially commenced mass production of the HDP Adaptors.
The HDP Adaptor, as a crucial component for Volkswagen vehicles, is installed in Volkswagen's latest EA888 engines and used across a range of significant models produced by the company. Therefore, this audit was of paramount importance. It served not only as an examination of Sokon Power's process assurance capabilities but also as a test for Sokon to expand its automotive component business market. It was also an opportunity for Sokon Power to benchmark against leading automotive enterprises.

The production of the HDP Adaptors involves both casting and machining processes. As early as 2021, the Intelligent Casting Department began preliminary preparations, forming a professional team to participate in the QTR defense in Shanghai for entry into the Volkswagen supply chain system for audit, carrying out pre-production equipment and facility reviews, 3D casting simulation design analysis, and prototype trial assembly, etc. By the end of 2023, the Intelligent Machining Department had successively set up the VW machining line, including signing technical agreements, equipment installation, auxiliary machine connection, and subsequent small-scale trial production.
The expertise and experience of the German Volkswagen headquarters casting specialists and Chinese Volkswagen SQE experts provided important support and guidance for the production audit of the company. They assessed each stage of the production process, including raw material procurement, manufacturing techniques, quality control, and equipment maintenance, to ensure compliance and stability in production.
Through this on-site audit, the company identified and resolved potential issues, enhancing production efficiency and quality, thus laying a solid foundation for the mass production of Volkswagen's HDP Adaptors. Meanwhile, it also created opportunities for the company to establish a closer cooperative relationship with Volkswagen Germany. Through strategic collaboration, it has propelled Sokon Power's business development in the automotive component field, further enhancing Sokon Power's brand image and market competitiveness.
