On November 29, 2018: The 15TCDI engine was honored with the title of "China Heart" 2018 Top Ten Engines.

On March 29, 2019, Sokon Powertrain Intelligent Factory was put into operation, and simultaneously, the 4,000,000th engine offline.

On July 31, 2020, the Sokon Powertrain Automotive Parts Project commenced.

In 2022，The engine production exceeds 5 million units.

In September, 2023, the Yanjia New Factory recasting line was officially put into operation.

In 2011:Chongqing Sokon Automotive Parts Co., Ltd.Established in 2011 with a registered capital of 50 million CNY and covers an area of 260,000 square meters. The production of seats and interior and exterior parts officially started, and the company obtained ISO9001 and 3C certifications.

In 2014, the company transitioned from producing seats and interior and exterior parts for traditional microcars to producing products for MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) models, and passed the TS16949 (now IATF16949) certification.

In 2016, the company had enhanced its quality assurance capabilities, invested heavily in automation equipment, and started supplying interior and exterior parts to external main host customers.

In 2018, the business focused on the development and manufacturing of interior and exterior systems and intelligent seats, improving product testing capabilities and expanding product fields.

In 2021, the company reached mass production for the high-end new energy vehicle, the Seres Huawei Smart Selection SF5, for its interior and exterior parts.

In 2022, significant progress was made in intelligent manufacturing and new energy business, with the development and successful integration of zero-gravity seats into the AITO series of vehicles.
