Systematic Innovation Lays a Solid Foundation for Green Development
Seres Power has fully integrated the concept of green development into the entire process of enterprise operations and established a sound environmental and energy management system. The plant has built a rooftop photovoltaic power generation system and absorbed green electricity from the grid, with annual renewable energy consumption reaching 24.72 million kWh. This has injected green momentum into production and operations, creating a low-carbon manufacturing scenario.
In terms of resource recycling, Seres Power has implemented a comprehensive circular packaging system. In 2025, the plant achieved a 100% solid waste treatment and utilization rate, realizing full-process green management from the source to the end.
Defining New Standards for Green Manufacturing
Centering on the four core goals of "zero thermal testing, zero cleaning, zero fuel logistics, and low-energy-consumption air conditioning", Seres Power Changshou Plant has systematically addressed carbon emissions and pollution issues in the manufacturing process through process restructuring and technological innovation. It has replaced traditional fuel-based testing with electric drive, eliminated chemical cleaning procedures, achieved full electrification of the logistics segment, and adopted a high-efficiency energy-saving environmental control system, thus building a new low-carbon manufacturing model covering the entire production process.
These initiatives have not only significantly improved the green performance of the production process but also delivered tangible environmental and economic benefits. It is estimated that the measures will reduce annual fuel consumption by 600,000 liters and cut carbon dioxide emissions by 1,424 tons, while also reducing the discharge of various air pollutants. In terms of resource conservation, they will decrease annual wastewater discharge by 430 tons and save 21 tons of chemicals. Through energy conservation, consumption reduction, and process optimization, the plant can lower energy costs by over 11 million yuan, achieving a dual improvement in both environmental and economic benefits.
